Description

The light and airy appearance of the Orb gallery lights is reminiscent of soap bubbles that seem to float weightlessly through the air. The clear or smoke-colored glass globe lights impressively fill the air space without losing any of their lightness.

Modern and minimalist

The design of the Orb gallery lights captivates with its impressive simplicity. The glass sphere hanging from three metal rods appears to float in the air. There is space inside for an E27 bulb, which bathes the room in a warm and inviting light. With its black, 5m-long suspension, the Orb gallery luminaire is ideal for use in particularly high rooms, galleries, entrance areas and foyers.

Light according to your wishes

Equipped with an E27 or G9 socket, you have full control over the brightness and light color of the light source. A special recommendation are the decorative E27 vintage LED light sources, which unfold their full effect in luminaires like these. You can also use dimmable or controllable light sources. Please note the aperture diameter of the glass globes when selecting the light sources:

The s.luce Orb gallery luminaire is supplied with a sensational 5m suspension, making it ideal for use in high rooms and galleries. You can of course shorten the pendant luminaire to the desired suspension length. A special mechanism in the canopy allows you to make small adjustments to the suspension with minimal effort. How can I use the s.luce Orb combine?

All you need is

  • The choice of the Orb as a 250 or 500 cm version

When do I need a single light and when do I need a combination?

If you already have ready-made ceiling outlets (power cable from the ceiling) and you want to use them in exactly the same way, then the s.luce Orb as a simple version. All you have to do is select the desired length. Each s.luce Orb has its own canopy so that you can also easily mount the single light.


However, if you want to combine several lights on one ceiling outlet, then use our sets, where the cable outlet on the ceiling is connected to the fixture in the canopy, so that several lights can be combined on your desired canopy. 

What is the "conversion article" that can be added to the Orb?

This option ensures that we can connect the cable outlet on the s.luce Orb and remove the canopy mounted on the s.luce Orb luminaires to a multiple canopy, in the number you require.

In other words, this article ensures that you receive a ready-to-connect multiple luminaire combination that you can easily install.

Can I also place the Orb gallery light on a sloping ceiling?

No problem. In principle, this works perfectly. With our multiple canopies, the canopy is placed on the sloping ceiling and the luminaires themselves are suspended straight down. Depending on the angle of the roof, you just have to make sure that the luminaires do not touch each other. We will be happy to advise you on this if you write to us in the chat or by email!

I need more than 5 m of cable. What can I do?

Just write us an e-mail telling us which s.luce Orb in which colors and sizes you would like and in which length and we will send you a suitable offer immediately.

Can I use the s.luce Orb smart control?

Since the s.luce Orb has a replaceable light source, you can also use a smart light source here and then control it directly. Otherwise, if you use a dimmable light source, you can dim the luminaire as required. In the end, it all comes down to the light source you use. The s.luce Orb itself allows all possibilities.

How many s.luce Orb can fit on a canopy?

That depends on your choice of canopy. With our s.luce Modular XL canopy, which is available with a diameter of up to ø120 cm or a length of up to 230 cm, you can create up to 50 s.luce Orb can be suspended. In the end, however, this also depends on the size of the chosen s.luce Orb glasses. With 20 and 30 mm glass, you can of course combine many lights.
