How can I use the s.luce Combine Orb?

All you need is:

  • The choice of the Orb as a 250 or 500 cm version

When do I need a single light and when do I need a combination?

If you already have ready-made ceiling outlets (power cables from the ceiling) and you want to use them in exactly the same way, then the s.luce Orb as a simple version. All you have to do is select the desired length. Each s.luce Orb has its own canopy so that you can also easily mount the single luminaire.


However, if you want to combine several lights on one ceiling outlet, then use our sets, in which the cable outlet on the ceiling is connected to the fixture in the canopy, so that several lights can be combined on your desired canopy. 

What is the "conversion article" that can be added to the Orb?

This option ensures that we do not lose the s.luce Orb mounted canopy and remove the s.luce Orb luminaires to a multiple canopy, in the number you require.

In other words, this article ensures that you receive a ready-to-connect multiple light combination that you can easily install.

Can I also place the Orb gallery light on a sloping ceiling?

No problem. Basically, it works perfectly. With our multiple canopies, the canopy is placed on the sloping ceiling and the luminaires themselves are suspended straight down. Depending on the angle of the roof, you just have to make sure that the luminaires do not touch each other. We will be happy to advise you on this if you write to us in the chat or by email!

I need more than 5 m cable length. What can I do?

Just write us an e-mail, which s.luce Orb in which colors and sizes you want and in which length and we will send you the right offer immediately.

Can I use the s.luce Orb also smart control?

As the s.luce Orb has a replaceable light source, you can also use a smart light source here and then control it directly. Otherwise, if you use a dimmable light source, you can dim the luminaire as required. In the end, it all comes down to the light source you use. The s.luce Orb itself allows all possibilities.

How many s.luce Orb fit on a canopy?

That depends on your choice of canopy. With our s.luce Modular XL canopy, which is available with a diameter of up to ø120 cm or a length of up to 230 cm, can accommodate up to 50 s.luce Orb can be suspended. In the end, however, this also depends on the size of the selected s.luce Orb glasses. With 20 and 30 mm glasses, you can of course combine many lights.
