Description
The shelter table lamp is a simple, characteristic lamp that passes on a cozy light to its surroundings. The conical shape of the foot and the rounded lampshade give the Shelter table lamp a friendly charisma that is aesthetically contrasting with the sharp lines of the lamp.
Shelter was designed by the Danish Designduo Holmbäck Nodentoft and is available as a table and floor lamp. Shelter plays with proportions and details. The white inside of the lampshade reflects the light, while the far -reaching and rounded shape gently transfers the light into the area.
Holmmbäck Nodentoft say: “The idea came when we speculated about the visual transition between the cable and the lamp. A cable is the inevitable evil. How could we convert this inevitable into a virtue? The idea of the rounded opening and the small brass detail was created, which now represents a main design feature of the shelter.
Design by Holmbäck Nordentoft. The table lamp is equipped with a 2m long cable and a light switch.
