Description
The Albertslund outdoor wall light by Louis Poulsen is based on a design by Jens Møller-Jensen from 1963 and is one of the best-known outdoor wall lights. The cap, wall arm and wall bracket are made of aluminium, while the diffuser is made of clear or partially frosted glass. With its clean lines, the light suits both modern and classic façades, such as brick.
The light is characteristically symmetrical and functional: the Saturn ring reflects the light diffusely all around and downward, while the shielding ring prevents glare in the horizontal direction. Direct light is created directly beneath the luminaire. In this way, it provides orientation along the house wall, entrance and terrace without dazzling passers-by.
The wall light is equipped with a E27 socket, the light source is replaceable and can be dimmed with a suitable dimmer – light sources are not included. With protection rating IP44, it is permanently suitable for outdoor use.
