Louis Poulsen VL Studio table/floor lamp Ø 25cm
Description
Description
The VL Studio table/floor lamp from Louis Poulsen is based on a design by the Danish architect Vilhelm Lauritzen, originally created in the 1940s for the Radiohuset in Copenhagen and reissued in 2022. Its hand-blown, three-layer opal glass with a glossy surface transforms the light into a soft, glare-free glow that gently illuminates the surroundings — entirely in keeping with the Danish lighting tradition.
In use, it is flexible: place the lamp as a table lamp on a sideboard or bedside table, or use it as a floor lamp. A light source with a E27 socket (maximum 40 watts) is used, and the electronic dimmer on the 250 cm cable lets you adjust the brightness continuously — with a suitable light source, it is also continuously dimmable. To replace the light source, the glass can simply be unscrewed.
The housing is made of deep-drawn aluminium or brass; untreated brass develops an individual patina over time. This makes the VL Studio a timeless choice for living rooms, bedrooms or studies.
