Description
With the VL Studio wall light, Louis Poulsen continues a design by Vilhelm Lauritzen: the design was created in the 1940s and relaunched in 2022. The round shade made of mouth-blown, three-layer opal glass emits glare-free, diffuse light and provides even ambient lighting around the luminaire.
The shade can be swivelled 90 degrees to the left or right, allowing you to flexibly adjust the light distribution to suit the wall and the room. Depending on the version, the housing is made of deep-drawn aluminium or brass – untreated brass develops a distinctive patina over time.
You can easily replace the light source by unscrewing the glass. With its compact dimensions, the wall light is particularly well suited to hallways, bedrooms and living rooms – anywhere soft, pleasant light is needed.
