Luclan's standing lamp is an exquisite design by the two Italian designers Francisco Gomez Paz and Paolo Rizzatto. A design lamp sparkles like the famous brilliant, the name of which it bears. In 2010 Hope won the Red Dot Award and thus one of the most important international design prices.
On the one hand, the Hope standing lamp refrains from traditional lighting forms, but on the other hand interprets them completely new. The candlestick is made of thin, flat fresnel lenses made of polycarbonate, which multiply the light and sparkling light effects with numerous small reflections that come very close to the eponymous diamond Hope. Fresnel lenses - but made of glass - were developed by the engineer Fresnel as early as the 19th century and are still used in lighthouses.
