Reflector and reflector lamp

A reflector in a light fixture uses reflective surfaces toShielding the light source and the light path. If these surfaces are highly reflective, they act as reflectors that direct the light; depending on the reflector’s design, this results in different light intensity distributions and beam angles. If, on the other hand, the surfaces are painted white, the light is scattered and distributed diffusely.
