The Tizio table lamp by Richard Sapper was the first lamp with low-voltage halogen technology in 1972. Today, it is a well-known design classic and, among other things, part of the collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York. Its striking design, special technology and great mobility still make it one of the most popular Artemide luminaires today.
The Italian word Tizio means "friend" and "buddy", a name that suits the uncomplicated and at the same time very masculine looking task lamp well.
Tizio is available in three sizes: Tizio 50, Tizio 35 and Tizio Micro, as well as a modern LED table lamp. Tizio can also be transformed into a floor lamp by mounting it on a separately available column.
