Buy lamp sockets at a reasonable price

There is a wide variety of lampholders for lamps and luminaires. For luminaires without permanently installed LEDs, the appropriate lamps usually have to be purchased first. This is a good reason to find out which  light source the respective luminaire actually needs.

Differences in lamp sockets

Often, it is not easy for laymen to tell the difference. Fortunately, almost all older luminaires with halogen light sources can also be LED lamps because the lampholder design has been adopted accordingly. The electricity savings from halogen luminaires to LED luminaires are enormous. So the change pays off immediately!

There are different lamp sockets on the market. For low-voltage luminaires (12 V extra-low voltage), there are G4, GU5.3, GY6.35, MR11 and MR16. For high-voltage luminaires (230Volt voltage) B15d, B22d, E14, E27, E40, G9, GU10, R7s and >S14d. By the way, the E in the designations stands for Thomas Edison, the inventor of the light bulb.

Most frequently used lamp sockets

In our lamp shop, we offer a wide variety of lamp sockets. The most common are G4, G9, GU10 (all lamps with base or pin/spigot) or E14 and E27 (classic shapes) Light bulbs E14 and E27 (classic shapes) are the most common light bulbs. Incandescent bulbs are found particularly often in Chandeliers, Table lamps, Hanging lamps and Floor lamps in use. Bulbs with bases are more likely to be found in Ceiling lamps, Wall lamps or Recessed lights Use.

Lampholders with cable and canopy

You can order these light fittings directly from us. If you only need the socket, there are luminaires that consist only of canopy, textile cable and the respective socket. This way, the customer has a lot of possibilities to equip the luminaire individually as far as illuminant and lampshade are concerned.

GU10 sockets for recessed luminaires

For LED recessed spotlights or LED recessed lamps the GU10 sockets are just the thing. These can be inserted into the recessed ceiling or recessed wall sockets and connected to the power cable or the corresponding light source of the recessed spotlight.

It is best to leave this work to an electrician or our lamp fitters, as they are trained and able to carry out such work professionally.
