RGBW + CCT Lighting.
RGB + CCT provides the ultimate colour selection. RGB can display around 16 million colours and CCT can be used to switch between cool white and warm white at will. Here, you can create any lighting mood according to your personal preference.
RGB CCT - what is that actually?
CCT stands for Red - Green - Blue & Correlated Color Temperature. It describes the colour temperature of an LED and is measured in Kelvin. Strictly speaking, it is "the temperature of the Plankian radiator that belongs to a specific colour of light emanating from the radiation source."
Typical examples of colour temperatures are:
- Warm white: approx. 3300K - like candle, incandescent lamps
- Neutral white: approx. 3300 to 5000K - like fluorescent tubes
- Cold white: approx. 5000K - e.g. midday sun
Coloured, RGB CCT
By mixing these three colours, almost any colour shade can be created. In LED lamps, three light-emitting diodes are combined with precisely these colours. This makes it possible to display almost any mixed colour, infinitely variable and dimmed .
A perfect play of colours
