Modern carport LED lighting must be water-resistant

What does IP44 mean?

What does IP54 mean?
If an LED outdoor light has IP54 protection, it has a high level of protection against contact, whereby dust can penetrate in small quantities . These are often called LED damp-proof luminaires! In addition, these carport lamps are also protected against splashing water.
What does IP65 mean?
A lamp for the carport with IP65 protection has complete protection against dust and it is protected against jets of water from any direction. This is particularly important if, for example, moving parts such as motors or gearboxes need to be protected. Also of great importance is the LED path lighting!

To be more flexible and to be able to cover a larger part of the carport, the attachment of an LED light strip is very good. It is also important to place the LED strips in an aluminium strip so that the LED strip can always dissipate its own heat. Also, with the right cover over the profiles, the light becomes softer and the light points blur completely into one line.
