Tips for using LED strips in a variety of ways
LED strips can be used in a wide variety of places. Especially strips equipped with RGB-W LEDs (LEDs that mix red, yellow, blue and warm white) guarantee perfect light. They create a harmonious atmosphere and are very popular in our shop.
Whether a few centimetres under kitchen fronts, behind cupboards, as backlighting on the side of furniture, milled into stair treads or in the stair handrail, in stone beds outdoors or metre-long lighting along the ceiling. LED strips lend themselves to any environment and there are no limits to the imagination.
As with luminaires, there are all kinds of different designs, light colours, wattages and versions. LED strips are available in lengths of a few centimetres or entire metres and can be easily adapted. They range from DIY sets for a few euros to RGB-W high-power strips for professional use. Mounting LED strips can be this easy
Since LED strips are usually offered in standard metre lengths (e.g. 2 metres / 5 metres / 10 metres), individual shortening or lengthening plays an important role. What if the kitchen block is 2.5 metres long or the garden bed is 15 metres long? Then the 12v/24v LED strip must be adjusted to the desired centimetres or metres using scissors or suitable accessories such as a high-quality quick connector. Thanks to this feature, any required length can be created. Thus, LED strips guarantee a precisely fitting installation.
This is how corner installation of LED strips works
Bends over corners must also be possible, especially at the transition from wall to ceiling or the centimetres at room angles. With cheap LED products, the connections break and the strip becomes defective. With high-quality strips, on the other hand, this is no problem if they are installed properly and detailed installation instructions on installation and technology are included. In addition, the installation is simple and provides special lighting indoors and/or outdoors. For these reasons, it is better to choose the higher-quality products in the area of LED technology.
When the strip is taken out of the packaging, it basically only needs to be connected to the controller and transformer, no matter how many metres long. When the plug is inserted into the socket, the LED strip lights up immediately and can be conveniently controlled with the accompanying remote control.
This process basically takes only a few minutes. It only becomes more complicated when the metre-long LED strips are shortened/extended or when they are taught to the system Smart Home / Smart Light Systems. But even this can usually be done without any problems.

LED articles can be controlled in different light colours and set perfect accents. These colours are warm white, cool white or RGBW (all light colours can be displayed). Decisive for the brightness is not only the arrangement and number of LED modules installed, dimmable or not, but also the power such as the number of watts and/or lumens. Whether the strip has 12 or 24 volts is also important for installation.

Mounting LED strips without visible light points
The light strips can be professionally glued into these and, if desired, removed again after years without having to dismantle the profile. The transparent caps attached to profiles have the function of making the many individual LEDs in the light strips invisible or barely visible.
Whereas LED strips used to be rather a nice gimmick and decorative object, a few centimetres or metres are now powerful enough to provide wide-area, homogeneous illumination throughout a room. Within the scope of our LED light walls or light ceilings (LED stretch ceilings) , the LED strips are also the supporting element together with the stretch ceiling to harmoniously illuminate several square metres.
Depending on the suspension height and the LED strip placement below, the LED stretch ceiling can provide metres of continuous light or decrease in luminous intensity towards the inside.
Smart LED strips Operation
For those who value smart (intelligent) lighting control, LED strips (especially those with RGBW LEDs) also offer every possibility. Whether controlled by remote control, smartphone or tablet, by means of a controller and optionally the appropriate app, each strip can be dimmed or its colour varied very easily at the touch of a button. Even timed lighting indoors or outdoors, for example during the holiday season, is possible. So that valuable help is also provided in terms of safety.
