The origins
Fil de Fer is a lamp made of modelled and braided aluminium wire, illuminated inside by tiny lamps. Conceived and designed by Enzo Catellani, it is his favourite creation. It was created almost 20 years ago for a special order, but was not used for the original project and remained in his workshop. Everyone who saw it when it was switched on was enchanted by something special and magical about it. So Enzo Catellani decides to continue working on the lamp. The lamp comes onto the market and becomes the most representative model of Catellani & Smith.

The innovative and poetic creations of the Italian designer are the flagship of his art, in which functionality is never neglected. Look forward to the Fil de Fer F IP65 LED outdoor pendant light and create a unique atmosphere in the area of your lighting. The model impresses with its round shape, which consists mainly of aluminium wires and hides several light sources. The luminaire has the protection class IP65 and can therefore be used outdoors without hesitation. The cable length is around 400 cm and can therefore be flexibly shortened . The LED light source provides a warm white light that ensures a good illumination of the surroundings even in the dark. The Fil de Fer F IP65 LED Outdoor offers you a wonderful play of light and shadow, which comes into its own especially in outdoor areas. The lamp is ideal for your garden, terrace or balcony.
