The origins
"I was at a trade fair in Frankfurt, where I was presenting the new collection resulting from the use of LED circuits. At some point I saw a Japanese woman pointing at one of my lamps, continuously repeating the words "wa wa". I approached and when I curiously asked her about the meaning, she explained that "wa" means "perfect". I was moved and thanked her, looked at the lamp for which I had not yet found a name and decided to give it exactly that name. So that's how "Wa Wa" came into being. Enzo Catallani
The floor lamp Wa Wa F from the Italian lighting house Catellani & Smith consists of five movable light arms and impresses with a refined and innovative design. Thanks to the flexible adjustability of the elements, the model can be used as desired to illuminate a sofa landscape or to set accents in the room. The Wa Wa F looks like a small tree of light and thus effortlessly inspires both young and old. With the help of the arms, which can be positioned as desired, a wide variety of patterns can be projected onto the wall through the specific alignment of the warm white light. This means that there are no limits to creative and individual design ideas.
