Velvet, linen and wood are used to create the circular and ring-shaped elements that make up the Cymbal wall lamp. According to its name, Cymbal resembles a cymbal. The materials velvet and linen used for the shade provide a cosy lighting effect. The light of the integrated LEDs is thus gently distributed in the room. The wooden element in the middle perfectly rounds off the cosy design.
The designer Jette Scheib, who studied in Berlin and now lives in Barcelona, designed the Cymbal lamp series for the French design lamp manufacturer Forestier. About the importance of lighting, the designer says: "You can have the softest sofa, but if the lighting is not good, you will never sit comfortably."
