A modern design combined with an extraordinary interplay of light and shadow as well as an atmospheric ambience: the Plate ceiling luminaire attracts all eyes with its versatile design and at the same time provides cosiness in your living rooms and bedrooms with its indirect light.
Indirect lighting
The special feature of this modern ceiling light is its lighting effect. Instead of emitting the light downwards, it is cast by the round luminaire head onto the reflector plate and reflected by it into the room. The resulting indirect light bathes the room in a cosy and warm ambience, making the luminaire perfect for use in places of relaxation.
Rotatable and swivelling
The rotatable luminaire head allows you to adjust the light direction individually yourself. Opt for a symmetrical or asymmetrical light cone. Likewise, the head can also be opened up so that the indirect light effect can be transformed into a direct one. Particularly when mounted as a wall luminaire, this gives you the option of aligning the luminaire even more individually and changing it as required.
Different versions
The Plate ceiling and wall luminaire is available in different versions. Choose your favourite from a round or a square reflector plate in 3 sizes each. In addition, you have the option of choosing the luminaire with a white reflector, which emits the light into the room particularly efficiently. Alternatively, there is also the gold leaf coloured surface, which is not only particularly decorative, but also makes the warm white light of the LEDs even warmer.
Use in the grid ceiling
A special feature of the Plate ceiling luminaire is the 62x62cm reflector plate, which was designed for use in a grid ceiling. The transformer box is placed inside the grid ceiling behind the reflector and only the reflector itself and the black luminaire head as well as the indirect light effect are visible.
Simple mounting
First, the transformer box is mounted on the ceiling and connected. Then only the LED head has to be connected to the reflector plate, which together are attached to the base via particularly strong, adjustable magnets and additionally secured via a steel cable. The power supply to the powerful LEDs is provided by a simple plug-in connection.
Our dimmer recommendations
The s.LUCE pro Plate can be dimmed by phase control. We recommend the flush-mounted dimmers from Busch-Jäger 6523 U-102 and Eltako DTD55-230V-wg or Eltako EUD12NPN-UC for electrical distribution on a top-hat rail or Eltako EUD61NPN-UC for use in a deep flush-mounted box.
Individual control possible
Optionally, the s.LUCE Plate ceiling luminaire can also be integrated into your Smart Home or conveniently controlled via remote control or app. Order the matching Smart Light conversion at the same time. If you have any questions, our competent service team will be happy to assist you.
Note: For the Plate Ø 60 cm ceiling light, we recommend using it purely as a ceiling light. The Ø 30 and 45 cm sizes can also be used as wall lights.
