Even more beautiful in combination
The canopy of the Ring pendant luminaire is designed so that up to 5 luminaires can be connected via one power outlet. Combine different colours and sizes, as centric or eccentric suspension and create a unique ensemble. There are no limits to your creativity. Simply order the desired conversion to go with your chosen luminaires. We deliver your chosen luminaires in your desired configuration to your home, ready for connection. The cable length can be adjusted on site.
Your individual configuration
To be able to deliver the luminaire exactly according to your wishes, you have the possibility to configure the number of rings, the suspension, the colour of the canopy and the dimming technique yourself. We show you what to look out for when making your selection.
Model
Select the model according to the number of rings you want to operate with a canopy and thus with a power outlet.
Suspension
With the Ring pendant luminaire, you have the choice between a centric suspension or an eccentric suspension. With the centric suspension, all 3 cables run together on the canopy, while with the eccentric suspension only the current-carrying cable runs into the canopy and the two non-current-carrying cables can be placed freely around the canopy.
If you order a single Ring pendant luminaire, the suspension can be determined on site during installation. As delivered, the suspension is eccentric. Here you can choose the colour of the canopy as well as the dimming technology (iLight, Casambi, or DALI).
Colour of the canopy
You can choose the colour of the canopy according to your wishes. You have the option of choosing the right canopy for your ring combination from 4 or 6 colours. Select the canopy in the ring colour or use a white canopy for a particularly inconspicuous installation. In the case of an eccentric conversion, the matching steel cable holders in the colour of the canopy are also supplied. We always use the smallest possible canopy for the chosen combination. This is usually as follows:
1 ring
- Canopy Ø 18 cm or Ø 27 cm
- Selectable colours: black, white, chrome, gold, coffee or brushed aluminium
2 - 3 rings
- Canopy Ø 27 cm
- Colours: black, white, chrome, gold, coffee or brushed aluminium
4 - 5 rings
- Canopy Ø 33 cm
- Colours: black, white, gold or brushed aluminium
Please note: The canopies for the Hexa pendant lamp are only available in the colours black, gold and brushed aluminium. In case of a conversion, we use the original hexagonal canopy of the Hexa pendant lights if possible. If you choose a different colour, e.g. white, a larger combination, e.g. 5 luminaires, or a smart control, a round canopy may be used for the conversion. Our competent service team will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
Dimming
Phase control
The s.LUCE Ring and Hexa pendant luminaires can be dimmed by phase control/phase control when delivered. If you want to dim them, you need an appropriate LED dimmer. You will find our dimmer recommendations in the article description of the Ring pendant luminaires. If you would like to dim the lights via phase control, select this variant. If you have not installed a dimmer and do not want to dim the luminaire in any other way, select this version as well.
iLight
If you have not installed a dimmer, the s.LUCE Ring / Hexa pendant luminaires can alternatively be dimmed by remote control. If you select iLight as the configuration, corresponding controllers are installed that establish a radio connection to the remote control supplied. You can switch the luminaires on and off and dim them via the remote control. If you use the existing light switch, the last setting is always retained.
1 - 3 rings

- 2 to 3 rings are controlled and dimmed together
Casambi
As an alternative to iLight, you can use the Casambi Smart Light System to control Ring pendant luminaires without a built-in dimmer. In addition to control via optionally available push-buttons and switches, Casambi offers app control, via which you have additional setting options, such as defining scenes. For up to 3 rings, a single controller is usually installed, for 4 or 5 rings, 2 controllers are installed. To be able to control these, you need the Casambi app or an optionally available push button or switch.
DALI
DALI is a wired system in which the control signal is sent via a separate control line that can be processed by the installed DALI-capable transformer. To be able to control a luminaire via DALI, you need the corresponding DALI gateway, e.g. via Loxone or KNX. To enable you to control via DALI, we install a corresponding DALI-capable transformer in your Ring pendant luminaire combination.
ZigBee
ZigBee is a manufacturer-independent radio standard that has become established for controlling lighting, among other things. To be able to control the Ring pendant lights via ZigBee, a ZigBee controller is installed in the canopy of the light. You also need a ZigBee gateway (not included in the scope of delivery). You can use our iLight ZigBee gateway for this. If you already use a gateway/bridge from another manufacturer, e.g. the Philips Hue Bridge or the Ikea TRÅDFRI gateway, you can also control the Ring pendant lamp in this configuration via it.
NOTE: This item is the labour for the conversion including all accessories needed for the conversion such as transformers, controllers and remote controls. The scope of delivery is determined by the selected configuration. No luminaires are included in the scope of delivery. If you would like a combination of the Ring 3.0 pendant luminaires, please indicate which luminaire is to be lit directly or indirectly when ordering.
