The module detects a minimal change in the voltage when a conductive metal is touched and thus gives the signal for dimming. Due to its small design, the module can be installed in table lamps, floor lamps, wall lamps or pendant lamps with 230V operating voltage. The module is simply installed in your existing luminaire and can dim incandescent bulbs or halogen lamps between 25 and 150 watts or LED lamps between 3 - 25 watts. Attention: not suitable for luminaires with transformer. The housing of the luminaire must be metallic.
Now you can easily dim your bedside lamp (in three steps) or adjust the pendant lamp above the dining table to the ambience. The floor lamp can be switched on without having to look for the switch on the floor, or the wall lamp is switched off with a delicate touch.
Please note: With this installation, the luminaire loses its protective conductor. Installation not permitted in Germany according to VDE! All at your own risk.

Neuer Dimmer für meine Nachttischlampe
Wer hat nicht schon im Dunkeln den Schnurschalter an der Nachttischleuchte gesucht? Mit ein wenig handwerklichem Geschick kann man eine geeignete Leuchte (möglichst mit Metallfuß) umbauen. Der Touchdimmer sorgt dafür, dass die Leuchte bei jeder Berührung etwas heller wird (vier Stufen: 0-1-2-3-0). Achtung: nur für Glüh- oder Halogenlampen geeignet!
