A young label from Innsbruck (Austria) produces design lamps from old wood. The idea was born from the desire to process old wood in a new way and to skilfully stage it as a light. The reuse of old wooden beams from old alpine huts and farmhouses from Tyrol reflects their unique character. Each luminaire brings its own individual history with it, with cracks, marks, greying and wear. A leaflet with each alpine luminaire tells of its specific origin.

The Alm luminaires are made of natural woods such as fragrant stone pine, light pine and classic spruce. At the end of their service life, the lights can be returned to the technical cycle. They can be disassembled into their individual parts in simple steps. All electronic parts can be separated and reused in other products. The waste wood can be returned to the natural cycle thanks to environmentally friendly wood glue.
