The arc lamp - the classic among lighting
This arc-shaped type of floor lamp had its breakthrough in the 60s when the two Castiglioni brothers made their "Arco" arc lamp from the Flos brand famous. Since then, it is hard to imagine life without LED lamps with an arc and shade.

Basic idea about arc luminaires
Due to the fact that one wanted to project light onto the dining table without using the power connection on the ceiling, this lamp - the arc lamp - came into being. In order to have enough space around the table, the arc-shaped design of the lamp was developed.
Nowadays, it is not only used in the dining room, but also finds its place in many other living areas, for example as a lamp above the living room table.

Construction of modern LED arc lamps
As the classic arc lamp usually has a very long rod in the form of a high arc, the base must be all the more stable. That is why the base of an arc lamp is often made of robust or heavy material such as marble.
The assembly of an arc lamp is very easy, as it usually consists of only a few steps and is easily explained by additional assembly instructions. As soon as you have finished assembling your arc lamp, you can plug the lamp into your socket and you will have excellent light.
