The Tolomeo Lettura reading lamps by Artemide are based on the famous original Tolomeo design, but extend the arms of the structure to a slender floor lamp. Thanks to the proven spring balancer system, the arms are flexibly adjustable and stable in any position. The head of the luminaire can also be moved and thus enables a precise alignment of the light.
In addition, we provide you with the matching E27 LED bulb, which you can operate via the switch integrated in the Tolomeo head. The light output is reduced from 100% to first 50% and then to 25% brightness by switching it on and off several times. In this way, the intensity of the light can be easily adjusted according to personal preferences. Only after switching off for a longer period of time do the LEDs light up again at their highest brightness level. An additional dimmer is not needed because the LED lamps do not require any additional ballasts or transformers.

Tolomeo Lettura is made of aluminium and is optionally available with permanently integrated LEDs or for replaceable E27 lamps. Next to the bed, the sofa or the desk, it offers perfect reading light. In addition to the steerable light cone, a small amount of light is emitted to the back and thus provides an eye-friendly background lighting.
