With Tolomeo Mega, Artemide transfers the proven design of the classic Tolomeo luminaire to the living area: while the functional spring-loaded structure remains untouched, the conical shade is enlarged and now made of translucent materials. Tolomeo Mega thus provides a homely, diffuse light in addition to its usual direct light, which is perfect for the living room and bedroom. The shade is available in three sizes. The structure consists of anodised aluminium, the shade optionally of plastic-reinforced parchment paper or silk satin, each with a different light effect: the light grey silk satin appears white and bright when the light is switched on, the yellowish-natural coloured parchment paper spreads a warm light. The Black Edition convinces with a stylish black fabric shade and a matching black lacquered structure. The collection includes floor lamps, wall lamps and table lamps with base or clamp, and even pendant lamps. In addition to models for replaceable light sources, there are also LED versions with permanently integrated LEDs. Tolomeo Mega can be used for table lighting, but also as a reading light next to the sofa, as an atmospheric light source for a seating group in the lounge area, or even as a working light in upscale offices. The numerous models and versions as well as the three different shade sizes make it possible to find the perfect Tolomeo Mega luminaire for every task.
