Company and origin
Since the foundation of Catellani&Smith in 1989 in Villa di Serio near Bergamo, the designer Enzo Catellani inspires with his lamps. Also with this simple concept of a table lamp, floor lamp , ceiling lamp or wall lamp, Catellani can convince.
The designer follows the concept to move the lamp into the background and to leave the main role to the light that illuminates the object.
Simple and yet modern look
The look of this lamp is timeless, simple and yet modern. With these characteristics, the design fits into any environment. Thus, the Lucenera is not only an eye-catcher as a floor lamp, but also as a ceiling lamp or table lamp. With its warm white LED light, this collection harmonises with any interior.
To correspond to the design language of this series. Enzo Catellani uses a black/white tube made of carbon/technofibre combined with a flexible support arm. The shape could not be simpler, yet the versatility of the luminaire is limitless.
High-quality material with a well thought-out construction

This luminaire collection basically consists of a no-frills cylindrical reflector head, which is made of heat-resistant material. The simple structure of the luminaires is made of metal and, depending on the model, is covered with a flexible rubber in the same colour as the head.
A great advantage of this series by Catellani&Smith is the adjustable reflector head. Another feature of the sophisticated Lucenera collection is the possibility to adjust the beam angle. If the head is pushed forward by its metal rod, for example, the angle is narrow.
If it sits at the back, the angle automatically becomes wider. These versatile adjustment options are the basis for a wide range of uses for the Lucenera luminaires. Thus, this lamp is perfect as a reading light in the form of a table or bedside lamp. Further possibilities are, for example, the use as direct lighting in the dining room or the application of unobtrusive light accents.
Colour scheme of the collection
To suit every taste, this lamp is offered in two versions. In which the reflector, the holder and, in the case of floor lamps, also the lamp rod appear in the same colour.
On the one hand, the material carbon fibre in black is available. Which can undoubtedly be combined with any interior. On the other hand, the luminaire is offered in white technofibre. This means that there is a suitable design for every room.
