The name Catellani stands for extraordinary design ideas, finest material selection, traditional Italian handcraft and incomparable lighting concepts. Behind this name is the design genius Enzo Catellani, who started his own business after his training as a blacksmith in Bergamo, Italy, and a few decades later became one of the big names in the global lighting industry. Enzo Catellani named the company after him and his racehorse Logan Smith. In his own writings he likes to joke about selling his horse Logan Smith as a British architect assisting him.
