Enzo Catellani - the designer
The Italian designer, born in 1960 in Parma, is one of the most important co-founders of the company Catellani&Smith. After his training in the craft of forging, he founded the lighting manufacturer Catellani&Smth in 1989, whereby the company name is composed of his own surname and his racehorse Logan Smith. The alleged English architect Logan Smith was invented by Catellani in a joking biography. Since then, he and his team have been creating designer lamps for the world market from the finest Italian craftsmanship. Among the most famous of his creations are the "Ciclocina Terra", "Lanchia Terra", "Fil De Fer" or the "Gemma Parete" lamps.
