The power supply unit from Meanwell supports the operation of LED strip lights and is dimmable via DALI. The power supply unit has an output voltage of 24V. Thanks to the high efficiency of up to 91% and the fanless design, the power supply unit can be operated at -40 °C to +90 °C enclosure temperature under free-air convection. The design of the metal housing and the IP67/IP65 protection class make the power supply unit suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications.
And this is how you select the right power supply unit for your LED strip:
Calculate the power. That is, watts per metre of your strip times the length of the strip.
Example calculation: Your strip has 14.5 watts per metre, this a total length of 5 metres. 14.5 x 5=72.5 watts
Add about 20% buffer=87. Choose the next larger transformer= 100W power supply.
