in 1992, the lighting god Ingo Maurer from Munich created the Lucellino series, which is still one of the most popular works of the German designer. Enthusiasts also call the series "little birds of light". The wings of the Lucellino are handmade and made of goose feathers - which have since become Ingo Maurer's trademark. They are attached to the specially designed 24V bulb holder.
The ornithological design exudes endearing lightness, which makes the designer lamp simply unmistakable and unique. In fact, the name "Lucellino" is a play on words from the Italian words "luce" (light) & "uccellino" (little bird). The combination of these two components became Lucellino.
