The collection is characterised above all by the current trend colour blue (some models are also available in black). Luzy" is a rubber glove at the ends of which between one and five light sources are located and thus emit direct light. What is behind it?
The Luzy series, launched in the summer of 2018, is free of design constraints in terms of material and form! With it, Ingo Maurer absolutely proves that with enough creativity and creative power, every seemingly banal object - such as a household glove - is suitable for an extraordinary lamp.
Inside the glove, depending on the model, metal constructions are hidden that give the whole thing a shape. Each of the Ingo Maurer Luzys is painstakingly hand-painted with blue or black paint.
The open character is created by the exposed light sources, which are located at the fingertips of the glove. The light sources, mounted in a classic bulb shape, are frosted and can be dimmed depending on the bulb . Thus, the light incidence is rather diffuse instead of dazzling and intense, which creates a pleasant atmosphere in your living room.
Blue and Black Luzy
The Luzy series includes different models. The "Blue" or "Black" Luzy pendant luminaire is available as pendant luminaire . This model consists of a blue or black rubber glove with a matt bulb at the tip of the index finger. Boredom is not an option with this unusual design. Controversial and a clear statement.
