The history of the manufacturer
The Italian label KARMAN was founded in 2005 in Fossombrone - a small town in the Marche region. The creator of the design light manufacturer is Davide Diamantini. A short time later, he found his partner Matteo Ugolini - who is still active as a designer at Karman .
What the two had in common was a passion for developing functional and at the same time mood-creating light. Within a very short time, the two created a very strong brand identity. The signature of Karman luminaires is unconventional, charming and at the same time typically Italian.
