It marks the end of the Chinese New Year, which lasts several days and whose origins go back a long way. This orientation towards the past and the memory of it is one of the trademarks of Matteo Ugolini Karman 's art director. The construction is reminiscent of a cage made of thin metal rods in white or bronze. The light is caught in the cage, which is additionally enclosed by a lampshade made of linen or plexiglass. The former is intended for the Karman Cell indoor lamp and the latter for the Karman Cell outdoor lamp. Matteo Ugolini created the lamp for both areas, because it should be able to spread its charm everywhere.

Visually, the hanging lamp of the Karman Cell series hardly differs from the Karman floor lamp, only a tassel hanging down in white or black is added as well as the very thin suspension. In addition, both versions of the Karman Cell are available in different diameters: They are available in a narrow as well as in a wide version and that for indoors as well as outdoors.
