The Counterbalance wall lamp by Luceplan seemingly overcomes the laws of physics. Because despite its imposing length, it seems to float; despite its filigree structure, it is always stably balanced. This fantastic functionality of the Luceplan Counterbalance is made possible by a system of two gear wheels and an ingenious counterweight. The long lamp arm can be swivelled with a joint on the wall bracket from +75° to -70° up and down as well as from +90° to -90° from left to right and thus perfectly aligned. This turns the Counterbalance into a dynamic sculpture in the room. In the reading corner, in the office or above the table, the directed LED light of the Luceplan Counterbalance D73 wall lamp with a beam angle of 85° provides ideally adjustable and pleasant lighting for the eye - whether for browsing, working, cooking or eating. No matter what you are doing, the Counterbalance follows your steps and illuminates exactly the area you are in as an individual light source.
Despite its almost weightless and very filigree appearance, the Luceplan Counterbalance quickly becomes an eye-catcher. The delicate structure and the counterweight of the Counterbalance wall lamp are made of lacquered steel. The curved diffuser is made of aluminium and is equipped with highly efficient LEDs. With 16 watts and 800 lumens, these are extremely economical and offer a higher output than a 60 watt incandescent bulb or a similar output as a modern 50 watt halogen lamp. The highlight: The Counterbalance does not require a wall outlet, but is supplied with power via a plug-in cable. The innovative Luceplan Counterbalance D73 wall lamp was awarded with the ADI Compasso d'oro Award, the most important design award.
