Luceplan Titania Alberto Meda & Paolo Rizzat 1989
Suspension lamp Titania is a fascinating classic lamp from Luceplan
Titania - a pendant lamp with a very unusually designed shade - was already created in 1989 by the two Italian designers Paolo Rizzatto and Alberto Meda and has become a true icon of the Luceplan product range over the years. The fact that the Titania pendant lamp continues to inspire after such a long time is due to the aesthetics of the design and the versatile usability of this highly functional light dispenser.
The feather-light shade consists of a lamellar aluminium structure, inside which there is an E27 socket in which either a halogen lamp or an energy-saving LED bulb can be inserted. The light of the bulb can be changed in colour by using filters in the colours red, green, yellow, blue or violet according to your wishes and desired atmosphere.
The filters are included in the scope of delivery. But that's not all: the height of the Titania suspension can be varied via a counterweight that is optically integrated into the design. The Titania pendant lamp, for example, provides table lighting that is as fascinating as it is functional.
