The pendant luminaire, which gives a new twist to the shape of a chandelier, is the result of the joint work of the two exceptional designers Francisco Gomez Paz and Paolo Rizzatto. They gave their extravagant creation the evocative name Hope as a reference to the legendary diamond. Hope luminaires: Fresnel lenses for a fascinating light design. The lamps inside the Luceplan Hope are surrounded by a complex structure of a multitude of so-called Fresnel lenses, which give the pendant luminaire its characteristic shape.
These trapezoidal lenses are made of transparent polycarbonate, which is characterised by its excellent light effect and robustness. They are facetted, which reflects the light and diffuses it in a fascinating way. The special highlight of Hope by Luceplan lies in its glare protection, which is realised by the alignment of the reflectors. From no point of view can you get a direct view of the illuminant inside.
