Terzani - Abacus Series buy cheap at Skapetze

Abacus is the name of one of the most famous and oldest calculating tools, as well as of the Abacus light collection by Terzani. The frame with spheres or glass beads threaded on rods was the inspiration for these elaborately staged lamps from the Italian noble lamp manufacturer.

For centuries, this system of balls on rods was used for calculation, even in antiquity there are signs of the use of an abacus.Terzani and the Milan design studio DRAW, which was founded by Luca Martorano and Mattia Albicini, create these masterful lamps in reference to this.

Abacus perfectly set in scene

How do I place my Abacus pendant lamps to make them look perfect? To make certain products stand out, it is important to create differences in the surroundings with regard to material, colour, etc. For example, a lamp with white glass can hardly attract attention with furnishings that are also white or cream.

However, if you have created a contrast, such as with a leather armchair in black or brown and a mahogany-coloured table in the same colour, a lot has already been achieved. Dark furniture combined with light luminaires ensures that the Abacus luminaire stands out perfectly and is most likely to be noticed first.

Feel free to ask our lighting experts at Skapetze for tips on your choice of luminaire. You are also welcome to send us a picture of your furnishings and we will discuss with you which trend luminaires work best with them.

We look forward to hearing from you!
