Would you have thought what you can get out of the shape of spoons? For example, an idea for a new lamp collection: called Anish, which once again grew in the mind of Dodo Arslan into an ingenious idea, which he realised together with Terzani.

Playing with his daughter, he was fascinated by the seemingly infinite reflections born from the concave and convex surfaces, as it reads on the Terzani website.

Inspired by the products of the Italian cutlery manufacturer Sambonet, this series of lamps was created.

Like shimmering spoons

This is what the pendant lamp Anish looks like. Arslan proves with his perfectly shaped lighting ideas that sometimes it only takes a look at the everyday to create new things. Natural, organic shapes combine with the art of the Terzani metal forge to create a glamorous luminaire.

Order Anish floor lamps or pendant lamps at low prices

With us, you have full choice from these enchanting Anish lamps:

  • Pendant lamp with either 63 cm or 44 cm diameter (suspension is almost 2 metres)
  • Floor lamp with a height of 1.73 metres

In terms of colour, the Anish floor lamp or pendant lamp can be bought in gold or nickel colour. Due to the concave shapes of the Anish lampshades, the light only flashes out at the edges or is emitted downwards. On the surfaces near the luminaire, a multi-faceted play of reflections is emitted.

Difference between direct and indirect lighting

Direct lighting casts light specifically onto an object. Direct lighting is important, for example, in kitchens, workrooms or at the dining table. But it is also important in shops to present products to customers in the best possible light.

On the other hand, there is indirect lighting. Ceiling washlights or wall luminaires brighten up the room because the light first hits the walls or ceiling and is then reflected to brighten up the room. A combination of both luminaires in living rooms is usually given.

Anish is both in one - both spot lighting downwards and indirect lighting through the many gaps through which the light can flow and be reflected on surrounding walls or furnishings.

If you have any questions about the perfect installation or placement of your luminaires, we are at your disposal with help and advice. Online, by telephone, in our lighting showroom in Simbach am Inn or also by video chat.
