Like "The Bauhaus Lamp" by Wilhelm Wagenfeld, this floor lamp with shade from 1930 is one of the classics of lamps designed in the Bauhaus style. Formally based on the Bauhaus lamp, a conical lampshade is used here. The nickel-plated components of the lamp are characterised by a yellowish shimmering patina over time.
The heavy base and the nickel-plated rod to the lamp head are characteristic for the high-quality appearance of this floor lamp. The cylindrical lower shade of the lamp holds the bulb and is characteristic for this design.
The lamps of this series are individually numbered and are the only re-editions worldwide that are protected by copyright and authorised by Wilhelm Wagenfeld.
