Spring is a series of three pendant lights made of stainless steel strips. Malleable bands of stainless steel have been arranged like an eggbeater around our custom-made, dimmable Tom Dixon LED shade.
The flexible bands allow the shade structure to be contracted, giving the Tom Dixon Spring lamp a flat or voluminous shape depending on taste.
From the semi-transparent shape created in this way, different silhouettes can be created - from a flat construction reminiscent of a spirograph drawing, to the shape of a flying saucer to a fuller contour resembling a pumpkin.
