Among the classics of lighting design such as "The Bauhaus Lamp" by Wilhelm Wagenfeld is his design of the table lamp with shade from 1928. Formally based on the Bauhaus lamp, a cone is used here as the lamp shade. The nickel-plated components of the lamp are characterised by a yellowish shimmering patina over time.
The cable routing and the glass sheathing of the lamp stem are characteristic for the high-quality appearance of this luminaire. The conical lower shade of the lamp holds the light source and is characteristic for this design.
The lamps of this series are individually numbered and are the only re-editions worldwide that are protected by copyright and authorised by Wilhelm Wagenfeld.
