This beautiful light object Cubelight by the designer Mathias Schifferdecker is connected to the tradition of the Bauhaus, i.e. the "New Objectivity". The cube was chosen as the basic form, the lower third of which is a steel cube that contains the technology and the light source. Arranged above it are two times nine glass cubes, ten of them as completely transparent objects, and four each in black and pink glass. The arrangement of these glass applications is arbitrary, but has a considerable influence on the radiating light, which draws patterns on the surrounding objects in exciting refractions. Since the glass cubes can be arranged freely, this light spectacle can be changed and manipulated almost at will.
On request, the glass cubes are also available individually as clear glass cubes or in the colours blue, yellow, green, orange, red, black and pink as a replacement or extension of the possibilities.
